A pontoon facility with a total of 27 berths for vessels up to maximum length of 12 metres, is situated at the north end of the Inner Harbour beyond the Lifeboat pontoon berth. Most of the 27 berths are allocated to local boats on a short term basis of 6 months. Remaining berths can be allocated to visiting vessels although there is a great demand for these berths during the summer months. In order to ascertain berth availability prior to arrival you should contact the Harbour Office during working hours, or the Duty Watchkeeper after hours and at weekends. In any event, visiting boats should give one hour’s notice to the Harbour Watchroom on Channel 12 VHF.

There is fresh water readily available on the pontoons although currently there is no option for shore power.

On arrival at the pontoon berth, you should report to the Harbour Office or adjacent Watchroom to confirm vessel details, length of stay and make the relevant payment. All major credit cards are acceptable. At this point you will be issued with a card to permit access to the pontoons. This card should be returned to the Office or dropped in the box by pontoon gates prior to departure.
